'Twas a dark and stormy afternoon (after a night of 70+ mph wind gusts, 40 mph sustained)...
(that's sand, not mist)
A touch windy
Crashers & Splashers
Little birds all in a row
Little birds all in a blow
Sand dollar find, and ink on nose...
10 minutes after we left the beach, the rain slammed back in. There was even a semi overturned on the Waldport bridge, blocking the road to Newport! They said the bridge might be closed up to 3 hours... but so far, the power has stayed on. Yay!

A couple of designers needed some help with sample layouts, so these are made with other people's stuff!

It always seems unfair that you have your birthday the day after Christmas. There’s not a lot of time to build up extra excitement. But you always seem to enjoy yourself!

When we went to OMSI, we opted not to see the bodyworks show since we had limited time. but we did go through the Life Sciences exhibit, where they had these funny bullfrogs--and a peeling gecko. The bullfrogs really made us laugh!

For the Photography Challenge @ MScraps: We had to illustrate the following 8 words:
1. Loving: This is a gorgeous little sculpture that Eddie bought for me, and that I keep on my desk to watch over me.
2. Sweet: I've fallen in love with this sugar free, no fat, coffee concoction, and have one almost every day.
3. Seven: Little Allen at seven months--I was looking at some old pictures today.
4. Comforting: Our marvelous new non-eiderdown comforter which we recently got from Ikea. (I'm allergic to feathers.)
5. Silly: My upside-down dog.
6. Dry: My plant. =( We got a new couch and lost our plant table, and this one just can't get enough light, so it's dead. Dead is pretty dry.
7. Cold: Beer, of course!
8. Colo(u)rful: My lovely Copic markers!

We knew this would happen, of course. Since we live way out in the country, it was inevitable that you should be attracted to big city life. And sure enough--you love to dress up, to go out, to do things that are “fun and exciting”--whatever that is. Hopefully you can get it out of your system, and come back to us when you’re grown up!
