Ok, last image with somebody else's stuff: this time, a freebie kit by Anne Langpap, off of 2Peas (that's also where the Rhonna Ferrer stuff came from).
Chloe is the daughter of Laura and Alex, who are Allen's godparents...
Our new couch, leather. So far has survived the cats with one minor puncture. We're less sure how it's going to survive Allen and his "steamies"--the toy trains with lots of pokey parts...
We had a lovely Thanksgiving visit from Granmama and her companion Rex. Allen really enjoyed Rex's cornucopia of percussion instruments, along with a couple of recorders, a slide whistle, and all other kinds of noise-makers. We went out to eat Thai food on Thanksgiving, which was yummy, and Eddie and I got to go on a date one night too... our fourth? Something like that... Well-appreciated!
Allen with all his favorite things: on a walk near the river, trains in the background, and a peanut butter sandwich. What more could you ask for?
Allen has been doing some real developing on the speech front, lately. All kinds of funny expressions pop out of his mouth, and crack us up. His favorite at the moment is "Actually..." along with "But what if... [the exact contrary of what you asked him to do, or said]." Hilarious!
2. Allen was describing, this morning, how food was moving through his plastic horsie's body: "It goes to the tail, then back up his back, into the mane, through the up arrow, between his ears..." The up arrow? Why, the pointy ear, of course... Mentally, I was rolling on the floor laughing... =)
